Worked on enhancing the UDS networking subsystem within the XiaoMi/mone repository, focusing on performance, diagnostics, and initialization reliability for Linux environments. Leveraged Java and Netty to introduce platform-specific event loop group selection, optimizing Linux epoll performance and reducing network latency. Refactored error logging in the UdsClient to provide clearer diagnostics, aiding in faster issue identification and resolution. Improved the UdsServer startup process by removing blocking calls and strengthening error handling, resulting in a more robust and responsive initialization sequence. The work demonstrated depth in network and system programming, targeting both performance gains and operational observability within production systems.
