Carlos Guimarães completed the Brazilian Portuguese localization for the Mattermost Desktop repository, translating 309 interface strings to provide a native-language experience for Brazilian users. He utilized Weblate to manage the internationalization workflow, ensuring seamless integration of translations into the existing codebase. This work enhanced accessibility and prepared the application for broader adoption in the Brazilian market, aligning with the project’s release objectives. Carlos demonstrated proficiency in localization processes, codebase integration, and disciplined version control practices.
