Worked on the abapGit/abapGit repository to enhance the stability and correctness of object serialization for switch packages. Addressed a regression by updating the ABAP class responsible for switch object handling, ensuring that package metadata is accurately read and written during XML serialization and deserialization. This targeted bug fix preserved package associations for switch objects, preventing misalignment and reducing potential downstream issues for developers. Leveraged ABAP development skills and Git for version control to deliver a maintainable solution that improved data integrity within the repository.
