Worked on expanding the payments data model within the getlago/lago-go-client repository, focusing on backend development using Go. Enhanced payment-related data structures to support external customer IDs, NextAction redirects, and metadata in payment results, enabling more comprehensive data payloads and facilitating smoother integration with external systems. Addressed gaps in the payment flow by adding missing parameters and ensuring metadata attachment, which improved the accuracy and reliability of payment data handling. Demonstrated a methodical approach to API and data model design, emphasizing maintainability and readiness for future payment provider integrations while maintaining a clear, structured workflow throughout the development process.
