Zero developed an end-to-end GitHub Copilot integration for the badlogic/pi-mono repository, focusing on model discovery and dynamic model fetching to streamline Copilot-powered development. Using TypeScript and leveraging both frontend and backend development skills, Zero implemented an authentication UI, OAuth token management with enterprise support, and robust error handling. The integration included catalog-driven workflows via the Copilot API, deprecation filtering to ensure only current models are available, and performance tuning for reliability. Zero also refactored token exchange utilities to improve maintainability and addressed issues in model context handling, resulting in reduced setup time and enhanced enterprise readiness for Copilot integration.
December 2025 (2025-12): Delivered end-to-end GitHub Copilot integration for badlogic/pi-mono with model discovery and dynamic model fetching, plus targeted code maintenance. Implemented authentication UI, environment-token fallback, and OAuth token refresh/save with enterprise base URL swap. Enabled Copilot model discovery via the Copilot API with deprecation filtering and robust error handling, complemented by performance tuning. Integrated Copilot models into a catalog workflow using the /models endpoint and introduced a models.dev process to keep catalogs up-to-date, including a filter to blacklist deprecated models. Completed code cleanup of token exchange utilities to improve maintainability and reliability and fixed key issues in model context handling. Overall, these efforts reduce setup time, increase generation reliability, and strengthen enterprise readiness for Copilot-powered development.
