Developed a new 'promote' variant for the WidgetEmptyState component using React and TypeScript, updating type definitions to support distinct visual and behavioral patterns for content promotion within empty states. Additionally, expanded the application's icon library by creating and exporting a reusable 'swap' icon as both an SVG asset and a React component, establishing a workflow for consistent iconography. Emphasized maintainable, well-documented code and backward compatibility, with all work centered on feature delivery rather than bug fixes during this timeframe.
