Worked on the jxxghp/MoviePilot repository, focusing on backend development and web scraping using Python. Addressed a key issue in the TorrentLeech indexer by replacing a hardcoded pagination value with a dynamic parameter, ensuring the spider consistently starts from the first page and retrieves the most recent torrent data. This targeted bug fix improved the freshness and reliability of the data pipeline, directly enhancing the accuracy of search and recommendation features. The solution was well-documented and maintainable, preventing navigation to outdated pages and supporting better downstream aggregation. The work demonstrated attention to robust data retrieval and backend reliability.
