During February 2025, Cedric Chedaleux enhanced the coolsnowwolf/immortalwrt repository by developing an efficiency-focused feature for feed updates. He implemented shallow cloning within the update scripts, including submodule handling, to reduce both bandwidth and disk usage. This approach enabled faster and more reliable feed update cycles, addressing the need for optimized resource consumption during repository maintenance. Cedric utilized Shell scripting and advanced Git techniques to ensure cross-module consistency and script-level optimization. While no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated a focused application of scripting and version control skills to improve the update process’s overall efficiency.
