During December 2024, Chaban updated German localization for the metabrainz/picard repository, focusing on critical UI elements such as minimum and maximum width and height. Leveraging Weblate for translation management, Chaban ensured that the German interface achieved parity with other supported locales. The work involved maintaining and updating PO files, including metadata fields like PO-Revision-Date and Last-Translator, to guarantee accurate attribution and traceability. No major bugs were addressed, as the primary emphasis was on internationalization and localization quality. This contribution improved the German user experience and strengthened the repository’s translation workflow using PO files and Git-based processes.
