Worked on enhancing observability within the govuk-one-login/observability-configuration repository by updating Dynatrace dashboards to improve spot performance metric visibility. Focused on refining the accuracy and relevance of performance data, the work involved configuring metrics instrumentation and applying DevOps best practices to streamline monitoring. Leveraged json for configuration updates and maintained disciplined version control through Git. The targeted dashboard changes enabled users to access more actionable insights, supporting faster triage and better decision-making for performance issues. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering a single, impactful feature that improved data quality and user experience.
