Worked on the influxdata/influxdb repository to enhance CI/CD infrastructure and packaging reliability over a two-month period. Migrated CircleCI jobs to self-hosted runners, refactored package validation to run inside Docker containers, and removed Terraform to improve build isolation and resource utilization. Addressed file integrity issues during artifact creation by introducing sync commands in Bash scripts, ensuring reliable packaging on self-hosted runners. Further improvements included refining artifact caching and download strategies to prevent race conditions and support cross-architecture builds. Leveraged skills in CI/CD, Docker, and Shell Scripting to deliver more stable, cost-efficient, and maintainable build and release workflows.
