Worked on the influxdata/influxdb repository to enhance code quality and stability in the project’s shell-based startup and installation scripts. Focused on DevOps practices, the work involved applying ShellCheck linting to identify and resolve issues that could cause CI failures or runtime problems. Shell scripting skills were used to update both the entrypoint and install scripts, addressing most lint warnings while deliberately ignoring one specific lint in the install script to maintain existing behavior. All changes were carefully documented and linked to relevant issues for traceability, reflecting a methodical approach to improving maintainability and reliability in the codebase.
