During November 2025, Chedburgh enhanced security and data governance for the ministryofjustice/modernisation-platform-environments repository by implementing S3 landing bucket enablement to support property data migration. Using AWS, Terraform, and HCL, Chedburgh refined IAM policies to control access, removed unnecessary landing buckets to streamline data flows, and addressed IAM and Checkov issues to improve compliance. Additionally, Chedburgh updated KMS key policies to allow the ingestion service to generate data keys and encrypt files during transfer, strengthening data protection. The work focused on infrastructure as code practices, delivering targeted, well-scoped features that reduced operational risk and improved secure data transfer processes.
