Worked on the gleanwork/glean-developer-site repository to enhance the accuracy of API documentation, focusing on the Indexing API’s faceting rules. Addressed a documentation bug by clarifying that integer fields are not faceted and date fields are only faceted when represented as epoch seconds, ensuring the documentation aligns with the current implementation and development guidelines. This update, implemented using Markdown and leveraging API development expertise, aimed to reduce onboarding friction and prevent misconfigurations for both API consumers and internal developers. The work emphasized technical accuracy and business value, supporting smoother integration and more reliable usage of the Indexing API across teams.
