In July 2025, Christian H. K. Pedersen enhanced the renovatebot/renovate repository by developing a tag-first getRawFile retrieval mechanism focused on Azure platform reliability. This feature enables the system to fetch release-tag content directly from tags when branch lookups fail, reducing pipeline risk and improving automation.
