Worked on the PraisonAI repository to enhance backend reliability and maintainability by focusing on stability, compatibility, and safer chunking usage. Addressed dependency management by upgrading the chonkie library to version 1.0.2 in both pyproject.toml and requirements.txt, aligning with security and compatibility objectives. Improved chunking context handling by disabling unsupported parameters and introducing warnings to prevent misuse, while tracking future support needs. Utilized Python and TOML for backend and dependency management tasks, ensuring knowledge components remain robust and easier to maintain. The work delivered targeted improvements that reduce maintenance overhead and support the foundation for future feature development.
