During May 2026, contributed to aws-mwaa/upstream-to-airflow and apache/iceberg-python by delivering targeted feature enhancements focused on data governance and developer experience. Developed and integrated optional object-level retention parameters into the GcsToGcsOperator, enabling users to specify retention duration and mode for copied objects in Google Cloud Storage, which supports compliance and workflow flexibility. In apache/iceberg-python, standardized the CLI version flag by deprecating the 'version' subcommand in favor of a more conventional '--version' flag, improving usability and consistency. Leveraged Python, CLI development, and Google Cloud Platform expertise, while expanding test coverage and aligning documentation to support these changes.
