Worked on modernizing client integration within the SAP/crossplane-provider-btp repository by migrating critical resources, such as service instances and bindings, to use the Terraform Plugin Framework External Client. This transition from the default external client to tfpluginfw addressed asynchronous operation handling and improved external name synchronization, resulting in greater compatibility and stability for Terraform workflows. The work involved updating dependencies and internal client configurations to fully support the new framework, leveraging skills in Go, Terraform, and API development. These changes enhanced provider reliability, reduced edge-case provisioning issues, and established a foundation for smoother future upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
