Worked on the mongodb-js/compass repository to enhance the Mock Data Generator, focusing on user experience and developer onboarding. Delivered UX improvements to the modal by integrating AI-assisted data-mapping suggestions, making it easier for users to generate realistic mock data. Improved developer documentation by adding descriptive comments to FakerJS methods and UI descriptions, clarifying data semantics and reducing misconfigurations. Addressed QA feedback and performed styling cleanup to ensure a consistent interface. Utilized React for front end development and applied UI/UX design principles, leveraging both JavaScript and TypeScript to streamline workflows and accelerate onboarding for new contributors to the project.
