Worked on the astronomer/ap-vendor repository to enhance containerization and security automation within a one-month period. Developed and integrated Dockerfiles for Python and Alpine images, leveraging Shell and YAML to configure CircleCI pipelines that automate building, testing, scanning, and releasing container images. Improved vulnerability management by updating security tooling, specifically refining the twistcliignore configuration to recognize new CVEs affecting Python dependencies. Focused on enabling reliable, reproducible builds and strengthening the security posture of the release process. The work emphasized CI/CD best practices and DevOps principles, resulting in faster release cycles and improved detection of dependency vulnerabilities through automated pipelines.
