Worked on the vechain/app-hub repository to streamline asset management by removing deprecated assets related to the Green Commuter feature. Focused on asset hygiene, the work involved deleting unused logo files and other obsolete assets without altering any functional code, thereby reducing the repository’s asset footprint. This cleanup, implemented using Git and JavaScript within the existing codebase, aimed to simplify future maintenance and minimize confusion for ongoing development. By addressing only non-runtime elements, the changes enhanced the maintainability of the project and prepared the Green Commuter feature for eventual retirement or refactoring, reflecting a methodical approach to technical debt reduction.
