During December 2025, Onigiri focused on improving localization quality in the GregTechCEu/GregTech-Modern repository by addressing a critical formatting bug in the Japanese language files. Using JSON and leveraging expertise in i18n and localization, Onigiri corrected the display of usage counts and tooltips to ensure numerical values rendered accurately and without extraneous characters in the Japanese locale. This targeted bug fix enhanced the reliability of the Japanese user interface and reduced localization-related issues. The work demonstrated careful attention to detail in cross-locale consistency, resulting in a more stable UI and contributing to a smoother experience for Japanese-speaking users.
