Worked on the Netflix-Skunkworks/service-capacity-modeling repository to deliver multi-region capacity modeling support for Aurora PostgreSQL, enabling more accurate cross-region planning by removing previous deployment restrictions. Used Python to update test scenarios, ensuring coverage for both standard and edge cases where Aurora may not suit large-scale deployments. Focused on backend development and cloud infrastructure, the work also included code refactoring to reduce technical debt, such as removing unused imports and improving test readability. These efforts enhanced the reliability and maintainability of the capacity modeling pipeline, supporting safer future changes and streamlining onboarding for new engineers working with database management systems.
