Worked on the n8n-io/n8n repository to address database connection pool stability, focusing on improving health check reliability under load. Developed and implemented a fix that ensures database ping connections are properly released when health checks time out, directly preventing resource leaks and reducing the risk of connection exhaustion. This solution involved careful management of database resources and enhanced the resilience of the system during high-load scenarios. Utilized TypeScript for implementation, applying skills in database management and testing to validate the fix. The work contributed to more robust connection pool management, supporting the long-term stability and scalability of the application.
