
Worked on the AliceO2Group/AliceO2 repository to enhance the Muon Identifier (MID) simulation for Run 3 calibration fits. Updated the simulation by replacing hardcoded chamber response parameters with calibration-fit coefficients, improving both global and chamber-level accuracy. Reorganized the parameter structure by plane and half-chamber identifiers, which increased readability and maintainability while preserving the underlying values. Focused on C++ development and applied expertise in detector calibration, detector physics, and physics simulation to ensure the simulation reflects real-world detector behavior more closely. The changes established a clearer foundation for future calibration updates and improved traceability through well-structured configuration management.
