Worked on the percona/percona-server-mongodb-operator repository to enhance reliability and test coverage for Kubernetes StatefulSet operations. Focused on preserving the restartedAt annotation during StatefulSet recreation, ensuring state consistency across updates and reducing upgrade downtime. Developed and integrated new end-to-end tests for persistent volume claim resizing, improving both the robustness and readability of the test suite. Leveraged Go for implementation and applied expertise in Kubernetes resource management and cloud infrastructure. The work emphasized production readiness by addressing K8SPSMDB-1553 and followed a pull request-driven workflow, collaborating closely with peers to deliver more dependable operator behavior and maintainable code.
