Worked on targeted improvements in the llvm/clangir and Shopify/ruby repositories, focusing on code refactoring, documentation, and manual page formatting using C++ and Ruby. In llvm/clangir, standardized byte unit nomenclature across the user interface and documentation, replacing legacy terms with ISO-compliant KiB to enhance clarity and align with industry standards. For Shopify/ruby, addressed a portability issue in manual page section numbering by removing a zero-width space, ensuring consistent behavior across macOS, BSD, and illumos platforms. Both contributions emphasized maintainability and cross-platform reliability, with careful updates to documentation to guide future development and reduce user confusion or support overhead.
