In January 2025, Cooper focused on documentation management within the microsoft/hlsl-specs repository, addressing the need for clearer governance around HLSL specifications. Cooper removed an outdated HLSL C interface proposal and consolidated related documentation by relocating it to the wg-hlsl repository, establishing a single, authoritative source for governance proposals. This work, implemented using Markdown and version control best practices, improved documentation accuracy and discoverability, reducing confusion for both new and existing contributors. While no code changes or bug fixes were involved, the effort demonstrated attention to documentation hygiene and alignment, ultimately supporting more effective cross-team collaboration and onboarding within the project.
