Corbee enhanced the koreader/koreader repository by expanding translator language support, focusing on internationalization and localization within the Lua codebase. Over the course of a month, Corbee introduced numerous new language codes and display names, improving the translator module’s linguistic coverage. The work included correcting the Filipino language code mapping and ensuring consistent representation of traditional Chinese throughout the user interface. By refining language-code mappings and addressing edge-case translation issues, Corbee improved the quality and accuracy of localization data. The changes, delivered as a focused feature, deepened the project’s support for multilingual users and strengthened the overall user experience.
