Worked on delivering Jakarta EE compatibility for the Artemis CDI client within the apache/activemq-artemis repository, focusing on enabling seamless integration with modern Java EE environments. Addressed compatibility issues with newer Jakarta EE versions by refining the use of the @Override annotation in configuration beans, ensuring that CDI-based applications can be deployed without errors. Utilized Java, CDI, and Jakarta EE to implement these changes, expanding the potential for enterprise adoption of Artemis in contemporary deployments. The work centered on a single feature, emphasizing careful attention to evolving platform requirements and maintaining robust support for enterprise-grade Java EE and CDI integrations.
