Worked on the labs-decision-support-tool repository to enhance release stability by implementing dependency version pinning for the litellm library. Addressed the risk of unpredictable upstream changes by restricting accepted versions, ensuring compatibility and reproducibility across different environments. This approach established a defensible baseline for future upgrades and reduced the likelihood of issues from untested library updates. The work was delivered as a hotfix, reflecting a focus on immediate stabilization needs. Utilized Python and YAML to define and enforce dependency constraints, while leveraging DevOps practices and GitHub Actions to integrate these changes into the deployment workflow for consistent, reliable releases.
