Developed and delivered IRSA-based AWS S3 client authentication for the lightdash/lightdash repository, enabling secure and flexible S3 access across diverse AWS environments. The work focused on implementing a specific credential chain for IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA) authentication, addressing credential propagation issues and reducing the risk of misconfigurations or credential exposure. By aligning S3 access with AWS IAM best practices, the solution improved both security posture and deployment flexibility. The implementation was completed using TypeScript and the AWS SDK, with collaborative contributions that enhanced code quality and reliability in cloud infrastructure management for the project’s AWS integrations.
