Worked on the kaito-project/kaito repository to deliver a storage reliability upgrade by updating the Local CSI Driver to version 0.2.5. This effort focused on enabling improved node resource management through the --enable-cleanup flag, addressing a race condition in the driver lifecycle, and strengthening security contexts. The upgrade process included incremental version bumps and comprehensive updates to Helm charts and configuration files, ensuring a clear and auditable upgrade path. Leveraging skills in Kubernetes, Helm, and YAML, the work enhanced provisioning reliability, reduced resource contention, and improved the overall stability and maintainability of the storage backend within the project.
