Worked on stabilizing the Operator’s ClusterServiceVersion (CSV) manifests in the red-hat-data-services/rhods-operator repository, focusing on improving metadata accuracy to enhance install reliability and upgrade paths. Addressed a deployment issue by removing an extraneous comma from the app.kubernetes.io/name label and updating the createdAt timestamp within the CSV metadata, which reduced manifest-related errors during installation. Utilized Kubernetes and Operator Development skills, working primarily with YAML to ensure precise configuration. Validated all manifest changes through targeted checks, minimizing upgrade risks and preventing deploy-time errors. The work emphasized careful attention to detail and a methodical approach to maintaining robust deployment processes.
