Addressed the need for trusted downloads by updating the SHA256 checksum to match version 2.05.01.52, ensuring that macOS users receive authentic and verifiable files. The update was implemented as a single, auditable commit, directly referencing upstream release data to maintain consistency between package management and source releases. Utilized Ruby and package management skills to execute the change, emphasizing traceability and compliance for future audits. No bugs were fixed during this period, with work concentrated on this targeted feature enhancement.
