Worked on the dvsa/vol-app repository to deliver a critical upgrade of the CI Testing Framework to version 4.18.0, focusing on enhancing the reliability and performance of automated functional tests. The approach centered on modernizing the test infrastructure using YAML for configuration and leveraging CI/CD and DevOps practices to stabilize continuous integration pipelines. By improving the underlying testing automation, the work reduced risk in the release process and enabled faster feedback loops for developers. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as efforts were dedicated to strengthening the test workflows and increasing confidence in the application’s release cycle.
