Worked on modernizing the frontend dependencies for the ripple/explorer repository, focusing on upgrading core libraries to improve stability and maintainability. The project involved updating React to version 18, React Router to 7.9.5, and Stylelint to 17.8.0, as well as removing deprecated testing libraries and adjusting peer dependencies for better compatibility. Using JavaScript, React, and CSS, the developer contributed to aligning the codebase with current standards and addressing specific project tickets. This work reduced build friction and enhanced performance, laying the groundwork for faster future delivery without requiring separate bug fixes during the upgrade period.
