During July 2025, Dmitry Maltsev developed a terminal-based management interface for wireless settings in the basecamp/omarchy repository. He designed and implemented the Impala Terminal User Interface (TUI), enabling direct interaction with the iNet wireless daemon (iwd) from the terminal. Using shell scripting and system configuration skills, Dmitry created a tool that streamlines wireless configuration and troubleshooting for developers and operations teams. The solution lays the foundation for future automation and more efficient workflows by allowing users to manage wireless settings without leaving the terminal. His work focused on robust shell scripting and terminal user interface development within a Unix environment.
