Focused on restoring missing HDMI codec entries in the nvhdmi.c and tegrahdmi.c files, the solution re-enabled proper audio functionality for users relying on HDMI connections. The approach involved low-level debugging within the ALSA subsystem, careful C programming, and adherence to Linux kernel development practices to ensure regression-free integration.
