Worked on the dyvenia/viadot repository to deliver an enhanced ECB Connector that retrieves historical exchange rates, expanding the application’s data access from daily to comprehensive time-series coverage. This feature required updating the historical data URL, refining code paths, and aligning unit tests to ensure robust integration with ECB data sources. Using Python, the developer focused on API development and data integration, making targeted code adjustments and resolving an indentation issue to improve stability. The result enabled richer analytics and more reliable data pipelines, supporting downstream business insights while maintaining clear traceability and maintainability within the project’s codebase.
