Worked on the oss-review-toolkit/ort repository to enhance SPDX reporting by introducing file-level details when fileInformationEnabled is set, expanding the report’s granularity from package-level to individual files. This feature required updating package mapping logic and adjusting output file paths to reflect new download locations for project packages. Using Kotlin and YAML, the developer focused on code analysis and SPDX reporting to improve license compliance transparency and support downstream analytics. The work increased the quality and business value of SPDX reports by enabling finer-grained license visibility, allowing organizations to better track compliance at the file level within their software projects.
