Worked on the rhobs/konflux-coo repository to enhance cluster observability by integrating the Thanos component into the Cluster Observability Operator. This involved adding a Dockerfile and configuring submodules to onboard Thanos, enabling improved metrics retention across clusters. Addressed build pipeline stability by bypassing the RPM source for golang-prometheus-promu and utilizing pre-compiled promu binaries, laying the groundwork for future hermetic builds. Focused on build engineering and CI/CD processes, the work improved both reliability and observability in the deployment pipeline. Utilized Dockerfile and Shell scripting to streamline containerization and build systems, ensuring smoother integration and more robust operational workflows.
