Worked on stabilizing the scoring pipeline for the UKGovernmentBEIS/inspect_evals repository by addressing a critical TypeScript declaration issue that previously led to incorrect evaluation results. Focused on ensuring that proper type declarations were included during compilation, which eliminated false 0% correctness scores in the IFEvalCode process. Utilized both TypeScript and Python to implement and test these changes, improving the reliability of the evaluation workflow. Maintained disciplined versioning and release note documentation, standardizing changelog formats for better traceability. The work demonstrated careful attention to testing and software development practices, resulting in a more robust and auditable evaluation pipeline.
