During a two-month period, Dama enhanced security and access control features across the microsoft/moc and microsoft/moc-sdk-for-go repositories. Dama extended key management capabilities by adding NO_KEY_WRAP support, improving interoperability and expanding supported key wrapping mechanisms using Go and Protocol Buffers. The work included dependency and Go toolchain upgrades, ensuring stable, secure builds and compatibility with evolving security requirements. Dama also introduced granular Role-Based Access Control by implementing separate key import and export roles, reducing risk and enabling finer-grained permissions. The approach emphasized maintainability, with synchronized toolchains and streamlined CI/CD processes, laying a foundation for reliable future upgrades and deployments.
