During August 2025, Shubhamsaboo focused on enhancing the reliability of telemetry logging in the adk-python repository. Shubham addressed a stability issue by implementing defensive error handling in Python, ensuring that telemetry is only recorded when the optional candidates_token_count field is present in LLM responses. This approach prevented potential crashes and reduced erroneous telemetry entries, thereby improving the quality and reliability of data collected from LLM integrations.
