Worked on enhancing telemetry reliability in the Shubhamsaboo/adk-python repository by addressing error handling in LLM integration. Focused on defensive programming within the telemetry module, a guard was implemented to ensure telemetry logging only occurred when the optional candidates_token_count field was present in LLM responses. This approach prevented potential crashes and reduced the risk of erroneous telemetry entries, thereby improving data quality and system stability. The work was carried out using Python and centered on robust error handling and telemetry best practices. No new features were added during this period, but a targeted bug fix improved overall observability and reliability.
