During November 2024, contributed to the acm-ucr/developer-station repository by designing and refining a dark-mode 404 error page component. The work began with an initial implementation using React and Next.js, leveraging the Next.js Image component for optimized asset loading. Subsequent iterations focused on enhancing the visual experience by migrating to an SVG-based asset and introducing a glow effect with Tailwind CSS, ensuring alignment with the dark theme. Incorporated pull request feedback to further improve accessibility and maintain consistency with the design system. The project utilized JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS, emphasizing performance, accessibility, and cohesive user interface design.
