During November 2024, contributed to the acm-ucr/developer-station repository by developing a reusable ProjectButton component designed for consistent project card presentation. Leveraging React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, the component displays a project’s name, description, difficulty, and an image to enhance visual clarity. The implementation included extending the Tailwind CSS configuration with a new color to support the updated design requirements. This work focused on improving UI consistency and reducing code duplication across project-related screens. By emphasizing reusability and maintainability, the contribution streamlined the process of composing project lists and ensured a cohesive user experience throughout the application’s frontend.
