Addressed a bug where users with failed MCP connections triggered repeated idle checks by implementing a guard that clears user activity timestamps when connections fail, thereby preventing unnecessary processing. This solution reduced server load by ensuring idle-check triggers only occur for users with established connections. The work was documented and tied to a specific issue for traceability.
