Worked on enhancing the IFTTT/CRDs-catalog by implementing GitHub provider integration, focusing on expanding catalog interoperability for automated onboarding of GitHub repositories. Updated the gitrepository_v1.json schema using JSON to support the new provider, enabling smoother cross-provider workflows and reducing manual integration steps. The approach involved validating integration pathways, updating related tests and documentation, and ensuring future extensibility of the catalog. Leveraged configuration management skills to streamline the process, allowing the catalog to handle GitHub repositories automatically. This work laid the foundation for more efficient catalog management and improved the ability to integrate with external version control systems in the future.
