During January 2025, Willi Carlsen delivered a comprehensive cert-manager CRD refresh for the IFTTT/CRDs-catalog repository. He updated the catalog’s custom resource definitions by applying Helm chart version v1.16.2, aligning them with the latest stable cert-manager release. This work, implemented using YAML and leveraging Kubernetes best practices, improved cluster compatibility and enabled support for new cert-manager features across deployments. By standardizing the CRD upgrade path, Willi reduced configuration drift and simplified future maintenance. No high-severity bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a focused and well-executed engineering effort that addressed compatibility and upgrade challenges in Kubernetes environments.
